Trolley to Downtown Himmarshee Village for young children???

We are looking at taking the free 'Sun Trolley' from the airport on Sunday, March 4th. According to their website, it drops off at Downtown Himmarshee Village (219 SW 2nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301)... is there anything in that area that would help keep 3, 4, and 6 year old boys entertained while we head back to the airport for our flight? (We have a cruise that ends in Fort Lauderdale that morning, but our flight doesn't leave until 3:20pm.) They LOVE playgrounds... indoor or outdoor... are there any around there?

The Museum of Science and Discovery ( MODS ) is located right there and is a hands on kid oriented museum. There is often a street festival of some sort on weekends- last time we were there they were giving free Water Taxi rides and had music playing and some food booths. I think you'll be fine.

MODS has an IMAX theater and so it depends what is showing if it would interest your kids ( often it's a family friendly film.) I can't recall about a playground , but I'll see if I can find out- lots to do in the MODS Museum though.).

MODS is a great idea, if they arent tired of being on a boat you can try the free http://www.riverwalkwatertrolley.com/

The Riverfront area is undergoing a major face lift, so some of the cool spots arent there any more.

Depending on the weather, and your desire to travel they might also like:
