Hampton or Ramada???

Both are priced pretty similarly.. anyone stay at both or either and have thoughts? We'll have a small toddler with us, still too small for a lot of activities.. and a light sleeper too! Thoughts?

We have stayed at the Ramada and loved their pool. They also have a splash park that a toddler would probably have loads of fun in. However, the rooms are small and for the same price, you can probably rent a condo where you wouldn't have to worry about noise so much.

The pool areas @ the Ramada are nice. The Hampton also gets good reviews. I agree with the above poster that for the money, you can rent a condo & be a lot more comfortable, especially with a toddler. The beach on the western end of Okaloosa Island is not as crowded as the area you are looking at.

Neither. Go out on VRBO and find a condo or a cottage. You'll like it 100x more in my opinion. Prices should be about the same.

We actually stayed at the Hampton once but all other times we have done a condo. It worked for us (that one time) - we got a really good deal and upgraded to a two room suite w/ a kitchenette - but I did find it a little noisy there (airplanes going over and the bungee jumping thing across the street elicits screaming).

Price-wise, a condo is almost *always* the way to go.

Hope you have a great time!
