Lots of Honor Parking in Port Canaveral not Honorable

Lots of Honor Parking in Port Canaveral not Honorable

I went with company because of its reviews and when we arrived they were prompt and very nice. Coming back on 10/08/16 was another story. When we got off we didn't know where to go but asked some others and seen a couple we rode with coming to the ship. We waited for a hour calling the company but no answer till my husband saw a van dropping off people and got the van to come to our side to pick up people. It happen to be Pam whom brought us 09/30/16. She only had a little room so we waited. Around this time a greeter name Shad finally showed up and starting checking off people. We told him that we been waiting for a while and was told a shuttle should be coming. It was another hour with a lot of calls to the company no response. My husband again went to the drop off side to get the van to get us. Pam laughed at my husband when he said we been waiting for two hours. Shad keep giving us the run around. When the next shuttle came we decided to just jump in. Shad tells me I cant get in because we aren't on the list. He checked us off an hour ago. I told him I wasn't going to let my five year child stay out here any longer and got in and when another passenger from the same boat defended me and his reason for getting in also because they were waiting as well. He had the cops called on him. My husband is a vet and this was very deplorable actions on their part. Also the guy at the company when we came back would not let us talk to the manager. We were patient and gave Shad the benefit of doubt with contacting the company with all the chaos the Hurricane cause but we realized we were being lied too. Another couple had to get a taxi to get them back to their car. This is my first and last time with them. Bad service that I paid in advance for.

I hate to hear anybody going through that. If you can find a place to write a review, your post may stay around longer. You may also seem a little more credible if you post some things about your cruise. Usually people who only post one time to complain are not taken very seriously.

Everybody likes to save a few bucks here and there, but I am really funny about both the cruise port and the airport. I have parked AT the port and spent the big bucks, and I have people that I trust getting me to and from the airport. I don't do offsite parking at either, but that is just me.

Beware! They should be called Lots of Shame! This place isn't run by a veteran, it's run by the owners 20 year old son (cody) who's never been in the military. None of the staff are veterans! They're using the homes for our troops program as a marketing ploy! Shame on them!!! They drove us in a beat up van with a transmission that kept on slipping. The driver had to pull over on a busy highway (528) several times to restart the van. The van would only work in 2nd gear and only go about 20 MPH on a highway! This is a huge safety hazard and the driver admitted they've had this problem with this van for months! When we finally got to the port the driver tried several times to try and open the side door to let us out of the van but the door handle was broken. We were told it's been that way for months! They talk about how they're opening up a second lot but they don't spend the money to fix broken vans! The front of their business looks vacant and run down. Several of the employees smoked around us and our car reeked of smoke! This place should be shut down! FYI, Port Canaveral is now allowing disabled veterans to park for FREE at any of the Port Canaveral terminals! Please don't make the mistake I made...stay away from this place!!!

"Port Canaveral is now allowing disabled veterans to park for FREE at any of the Port Canaveral terminals! "

Clarification: permanently & totally (100%) disabled veterans with a FL DV (disabled veteran) license plate.

I agree. We waited over 1 1/2 hours to try to catch a shuttle back to the parking lot. They told us we would not be able to catch the first one and we would have to wait for the second shuttle. We finally had to catch a cab (at a $40 expense) to get back to the lot. When we got back to the lot, there were a lot of people waiting to go to the port!

Please, do yourself a favor and don't use them!

So NIT true! I've used this company twice and have been treated like family both times. And by the way, the owner's son is military! He starts boot camp next week.

I agree with the previous reviewers, they should be called Lots of Shame. Don't use this company! You've been warned.

Parking off site can save you money but next time park at the terminal. So sorry you had to go through all that trouble. We love our Vets and thank you for your service.

Not another parking / shuttle wars thread! Please we have already been down this road. Did you join Trip Advisor just to complain about a ride to the port? Really? We already have one of a few of these type of posts get shut down.

There is no way I would have stood around for 2 hours waiting on a shuttle especially having a child with me. There are plenty of other options to get to the port. There are tons of recommendations on the Orlando forum for shuttle companies. Its sounds like you did not do your research. Also this exact same thread was posted on Cruise Critic.
