Constriction- Snowmass Village

Hi!

Searching for lodging I see some reviews warning about constriction noise. Is construction still active in the Village? If yes, any recommendations on lodging (mid/end July) not in the midst of renovation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

It's virtually done, so the reviews may be a bit out of date. You can see the project here www.snowmassvillage.com/the-renaissance with #14 and #15 being the main areas still outstanding.

Hi, Jennifer74

Thank you for your quick reply. Could you please help further? We are planning to book either Tamarack Townhouses or Stonebridge Inn. How close are these places to the remaining construction sites? I would appreciate any other suggestions on logging. We will be attending a meeting at the Conference Center (July), so I would prefer to be able to walk to the Center.

Snowmass is quite small, but of the two Tamarack will be closer. You may wish to ask the reservations staff about precisely what traffic if any is still going past that property though as it might be minmal at this point.

The properties are very different- one being a hotel and one being a condominium property with two bedrooms and larger. If Tamarack doesn't work for you and you want a condominium you might wish to look for something besides Stonebridge Inn. Top of the Village will be the farthest away from any potential noise.

Also keep "walking distance" in perspective...Snowmass is built on a steep hill so you'll likely take the shuttle one direction or another even though the conference center is walking distance from all the properties you're talking about.
