Where to see redwoods and coastline?

Hi, everybody! Hoping to get some local advice. We'll be spending my birthday in your lovely area this weekend. Flying into Oakland Saturday morning, driving up to Lagunitas, then staying in Santa Rosa (visiting Russian River for hopefully some Pliny the Younger) through Monday morning. Monday morning drive back down to the city to stay through Wednesday. I would really like to see some redwoods and coastline, either by vehicle alone or by vehicle + short, accessible hike/walk. Any ideas as to our best option for this in the area between Santa Rosa and San Francisco? Thanks so much for your help!

'driving up to Lagunitas'

The town in Marin or the Brewery in Petaluma?

For redwoods near Santa Rosa, Armstrong Redwoods in Guerneville is your best bet.

The nice drive is to go out Westside Road - there are lots of wineries in this section, The last winery will be Korbel with a good deli. Gary Farrell has an awesome view of the redwoods, as well as the deli patio at Korbel. Then head to Guerneville and turn right when you get there to get to Armstrong Redwoods State Park. Then return to the highway and continue to Jenner. Go south at Jenner to see the spectacular Sonoma State Beach area. The drive is from Jenner to Bodega Bay. Goat Rock is a good one to drive down to as you will see the Russian River flow into the Pacific Ocean. Awesome place to go.

There is awesome places to hike in both Armstrong and along the Sonoma Coast. We have done this trip numerous times, the latest being a couple of days ago over Easter. (we did all except Korbel as they were closed Easter Sunday).
