Las Flores Beach or Carbon Beach?

Looking at a weeklong rental in April. One of the rentals we are looking at is on Las Flores Beach and looks a lot bigger/nicer than the rental on Carbon Beach........but then I've read a couple of things saying Carbon Beach is a lot nicer. Thoughts? I think we will spend half days hiking in the hills and exploring (Getty Center), other time relaxing walking along the water. Interested in trying all the restaurants in the area would not plan to cook dinner. Thanks!

they are side by side, basically, but Carbon has more sand, so those long walks along the beach are guaranteed, whereas it's rocky at Las Flores so you won't have a beach to walk at high tide. Carbon is closer to the restaurants, but only by a few minutes, and some you can walk to (Nobu).
