Lunch by the beach?

Hi TA-ers,

Looking for a beach-side lunch spot for something fairly casual and fairly quick (not counter service but sandwiches, salads, burgers) in January. We're at Nobu the night before but won't see the wonderful view so would like to try and see it the next day. We've probably got 1h30 between horse riding and the wine safari to eat something tasty.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Bex

You will have gorgeous views at Nobu, if going to the one in Malibu, even at night.

For quick, head to Malibu Farm Cafe at the end of the Malibu Pier. It is counter service, but you get a number and they deliver your order to the table. The food is incredible, although not inexpensive. Views are outstanding, you sit right on top of the water.

Another option is to get sandwiches at John's Garden at the Country Mart, or burgers at the stand at the Mart, and take them over to the beach.

Duke's - has water views and is on the ocean, service is pretty quick and food is casual, even more casual in the Barefoot Bar. Has salads, sandwiches and burgers among other things. Nice Hawaiian themed decor.
