apartment wanted

Thinking of visiting last 2 weeks in july, would like fairly high spec 2 bedroom minimum apartment close as possible to the beach, any ideas would be appreciated, also does it get packed at that time of year

Hopefully the whole coast will be packed, for the traders after a poor winter. July & Aug are always busier than any other months, also reflected in apartment/flight prices.

My wife and I booked apartments through Royal Rental this year and last and were very happy with our lot. We thought our Ronda 2 flat just had the edge on Ronda 3, but both were in great locations, with wonderful views up and down the coast.

Give the very helpful Lynn or Christine a phone and see what they have to offer.

Depends on what you mean by high spec. We always rent the Niza apartment from

www.pazvillas.com

They are literally 1 minute across the road from the beach and are 2 bed I bathroomed. they have a fully fitted kitchen which has been refurbished + a lounge area and balcony overlooking the med. The location is brilliant being just a short 5/10 minute stroll in either direction to Fuengirola old town and Los Boliches. There is also a large supermarket directly behind the block and its a 5 minute walk to the Tuesday market.

The apartment block is right on the front and you can see the large Mercadona at the back from the kitchen window. There is a dry river opposite the Mercadons if that is the one you mean. On google earth look for a large 'T' shaped jetty that is just to the right of the apartment'

we have used royal rentals too, nice people to deal with however no air con, in the appts we were offered. We stayed in july and vowed we would never go in an appt without air con at time of year again. It is impossible to sleep and completly ruins your hol.

just my opinion though. we use the private rental companies as mentioned here too.

Parque Dona Sofia apartments are excellent. They are in a quieter area of Fuengirola, but only a short walk from the centre. There are shops, restaurants and bars right on the doorstep, and they are right opposite the beach.

They are privately owned so each one differs in furnishings, but we love the situation of them, and the apartments themselves.
