carlingford has lots of pubs so start out early and you will proberly get to visit most of them. there is a pub on the corner - used to be called larkins but has a new name now - has brillent live music at the weekends. all the pubs are within walking distant. enjoy.

Taffe's Castle - quite atmospheric, PJ's - a fascinating warren, McKevitts - fairly small bar but good restaurant, Murphy's - like drinking in soeone's front room.

All are within 100 metres of each other. Was there recently for a wedding, and found PJ's and Taffe's probably the best venues for a group of 30.

Didn't see a night club (and that probably wasn't due to the Guiness . . .)

where did you stay in Carlingford! I'm planning a stag weekend there soon and could be about 20 people! Any suggestions on where to stay that is reasonably priced?
