Beer, bars, and music?

Hi, two mid 30's couples coming out there the last weekend in May and had a couple questions.

Beer: I think we will try to hit some breweries, what ones?

Bars: I know the college is right there, but we don't want to end up some place where it feels like we could be their parents. What are some good bars for the older crowd?

Music: Bars with live music? Country maybe?

Thanks!

Stay in Old Town over Tempe, the crowd is slightly older.

We have great breweries! And other great bars with a lot of good beers on tap that it just isn't made there....lol.

So try Goldwater Brewery, Bad Water Brewery, Four Peaks (if you don't make it to the actual brewery, lots of places have the beers).

Goldwater has live music on Saturdays, usually around 6ish. It's pretty chill great place to relax and hang out. It's not country, but it's easy, popular music.

There's also a Toby Keith bar in Old Town, check that out for live country music later at night.

I think you're thinking of Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row in Old Town msu_gal? That's a great place to start, lots of activity there after dark and even before, plenty of places to choose from, just east of the W Hotel and south of Camelback Rd.

Thanks a bunch! Will look into these places. Already have the hotel booked at the Marriott at the Buttes so can't change to Scottsdale, but it looks like it's not too far away.
