Round trip with 1 13 year old and 1 10 year old

Hi, we are driving from Las Vegas to Zion for a few days and then heading to Sierra Vista. Suggested stop off at Sedona. Does anyone have any advice on journey, things to do, places to stay on way and on way back? Staying in Sierra Vista for a week in-between before heading back to Las Vegas.

My kids are not into hiking, and we are coming over in August so i am guessing temperatures will be extreme. Thank you in advance

Are you visiting family? If not, why Sierra Vista?

Las Vegas to Sierra Vista is a 7+ hour drive in itself. Stop offs would need stay overs. You will be passing Grand Canyon as well as Sedona on the way.

There are numerous places to stay in between. Get a map or look at a map online. Kingman AZ, Williams AZ, GCNP, Flagstaff AZ, Sedona AZ, Phoenix AZ, Tucson AZ.

Near Sierra Vista are Tombstone and Bisbee. Tucson has many attractions.

Yes, it will be hot. Sierra Vista will be a little cooler than Tucson, and much cooler than Phoenix.
