Multi Generational Family Excursions

We will be traveling on the Princess Star Mid June. Ports are Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. We have two 70 year olds, 2 40 year olds and 2 10 year olds.

We would like to do the following:

Salmon fishing

Whale Watching

Tracy Arm

Dog Sledding

Which ports do you recommend we do each activity? Thanks! And if you have any must do companies to do these things with that is great also.

For Tracy Arm, you only choice is Juneau. Does your cruise ship offer it as an add-on excursion? If it does, grab it. If it doesn't, ;you likely won't be able to go. Check with Allen Marine.in Juneau to be sure.

Whale watching is also best done out of Juneau, with 100% success in finding humpbacks.

By dog sledding, do you mean flying up to a glacier to dog sled in snow? That can be done in Juneau & Skagway. Be aware that is the most cancelled tour due to weather conditions.

Fishing would be out of Ketchikan.

Since you're going to end up in Whittier, what were your plans for after the cruise? You have more possibilities: glacier dog sledding in Seward, Girdwood, or near Palmer, whale watching out of Seward, etc.
