Puerto veijo to san blas then Cartagena

Hi,

We are hoping to travel from puerto veijo in Costa Rica to san blas and stay around 5 days there then go to Cartagena in Columbia. I have heard you can do this by Boat via boca del Turo. But online I can only find bussing from Costa Rica to Panama City to san blas and then sail boat to Cartagena. Is it possible to go from puerto veijo by boat to san blas, stay a few days and then get sail boat to cartagena? And are these boats safe?

I don’t think that there was any sort of regular boat service along the north coast.

And no-one can be sure how things will be when they start opening up.
