which resort?

hi all,

Hoping to book a week in the Maldives for next March. Was all set on Kuredu but have been looking at some other resorts too. Reethi, Meeru, Veligandu, Kuramathi and paradise Island

Have read all TA reviews and to be honest they all seem to have good and bad points.

Its our first time to the Maldives and its for our anniversary and DH 30th birthday.

We are looking for somewhere that is obviously beautiful but with a little bit of life too.

We also want to stay in an overwater bungalow for at least 2 nights.

Any other suggestions

Hi -

have been to Veligandu, Reethi Beach and Paradise, and would rate them in that order.

Sun is much bigger, and probably more to do.

Have actually been to Sun too, but just visiting from Holiday island.

Reethi is cool and relaxed, with quite a bit to do ;)

a and good snorkelling.

Paradise to close to the airport!!

Veligandu very relaxed, not much night life!

Of the ones mentioned - Reethi, or Sun if you don't mind the rather big island...

Best,

;-b

4. Re: which resort?

hi everyone

thanks for the replies.

when i say we are lookig for somewhere with life I dont really mean night life. Hubby isn`t the best for just lounging on beach so as long as there`s a few activities, nice restaurants and a bar for a few quiet beers he`ll be fine.

Had a look at sun island and it looks great.

Also when is the best time to book. some travel agents say its too early to book now!!

Thanks

Would also recommend Sun Island, an absolutely beautiful island.

Great food, wonderful staff and the water bungalows are beautiful.
