If you are thinking of the glass bottom boats and type of snorkelling found in the Red Sea, then the answer is no.

At most resorts, you will find a sloping, sandy beach shelf and a lot of seaweed. Also, the visibility is not always great, so there would not be a lot to see from a glass bottom boat. You certainly can snorkel, but you won’t see colourful coral reefs and shoals of exotic fish, let alone whale sharks or mantas. However, what Tunisia lacks in underwater scenery, it makes up for in beaches - nothing like that in Egypt.

Yes, Tabarka has coral reefs and is one of the best places for scuba diving in Tunisia, but it’s a long way to go for a snorkelling trip.

There ate 2 beaches at The Bel Azur. Of walking out the back of the hotel the beach to the left is private and is The Royal Azur.

Really only a Sunvathongbbeacj which has nice beds with cushions and towels supplied on the beach.

The beach to the right is The Sol Azur but literally as you have gone down there is the usual Beach things Pedloes, Kayaking, Para Sailing and other things but do not know any prices as I never used them.

You can walk the length of this beach all the way down in to old Hammamet. There are a few local coffee fronts on the beach.

Snorkelling unfortunately at The Bel Azur is non existent although how the beachfront sits on the pinnacle you can Snorkel from the right hand beach around to the other keeping to the edge of the rocks and you will see some nice fish not an abundance but plenty of life and saw some Octopuss also. Kept me entertained for a couple of hours

Couldn't tell you about glass bottom boat never seen one.
