Cash or credit card in Busan markets

We have an afternoon in Busan as part of our cherry blossom cruise of Japan next year and will probably be visiting markets and/or local shops during the visit. How widely are credit cards accepted or should we look at getting local currency?

Some restaurants or shops in Jagalchi Market might accept credit card, but not many. Generally speaking, preparing cash would be better for local market. Shops and restaurants popular among Japanese tourists may accept Japanese yen with flat rate of 10 KRW = 1 JPY.
