The nicest place to see in Bat Yam is.... Tel-Aviv!

Bat Yam is a southern suburb of Tel-Aviv and has no tourist sites, other than a very nice beach. If you are considering booking a hotel or airbnb there, take into account that you will spend time traveling back and forth into the city every day.

Bat Yam is a community South of Tel Aviv and north of Ashdod. Other than the sea, I don't know if there is anything there.

You will save time and money if you spend a little more on a place somewhere in the centre of Tel-Aviv.

BTW, Bat Yam is adjacent to Jaffa , not "north of Ashdod", so it is only mildly inconvenient to stay there:

There is good bus service to Tel-Aviv.

I am going to guess that OP is asking about Bat Yam because there are family relatives or friends and that's where OP is lodging.

If that's the case, the question should be directed to the friends/relatives.

My guess is that it's cheap flights from Georgia, and that accommodation is cheaper in Bat Yam than in Tel Aviv. There is a reason Bat Yam is cheaper!

We enjoyed coffee alongside the beach in Bat Yam. Assuming you are fit, you can walk from there to Jaffa.

If you are choosing to stay there because you are meeting a tour there, or because relatives are in the area then ok, but as the others have said, it is better to be more centrally located in Tel Aviv.
