Is smoking allowed in just bali
As opposed to where else?
Places of worship, tourist attractions, parts of hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, schools, Government & public offices, health facilities, children's playgrounds, shopping malls, traditional markets, public transport and the airport are all non smoking areas according to the law.
Eateries are supposed to have a separate area for smokers away from the main non smoking area.
They are supposed to have signage visible.
If you are non smoker ask to be seated in the non smoking section and do not hesitate to ask anyone lighting up in that section to please butt out.
Thank you Lynne, you are very patient. Cheers.
You could learn a bit of tolerance Baliaustralia , if you can't give a reasonable answer, just ignore the question.
Just to add to Lynne’s excellent advice, there are now hotels which are completely smoke free or have defined outdoor areas for smokers, Agnes. Some hotels may also state their rooms are non smoking but will permit smoking on the balconies. It’s always good to check this directly with the hotels if you’re a non smoker. Cheers
Spot on Hunter. Thankfully, most normal people on this forum just scroll past questions they either don't understand or cannot answer.
It's the "Interweb" normal social protocols don't apply! :-)
