Red Fort or Agra Fort

Which fort do people prefer?

The tour guide I am considering said that most people prefer only going either the Red Fort or the Agra Fort because they are similar.

What do people think? Are they alike? Which has more impressive architecture?

Also, how long does it take to see each fort?

The tour guide said 1.5 hour for the Taj Mahal and 1.5 hours for the Agra Fort.

Red fort is mostly about Shahjahan and later emperors after him along with that it also has the history of 1857, whereas Agra fort has the history of entire Mughal empire from its very beginning and then Britishers.

If you had to pick just one, Agra Fort is much more interesting. Red fort can be done with a cursory visit or skipped, your option.
