Heated pools in December

Hi looking at booking AI hotel in Sharm for December 2012. We stayed at the Sultan Gardens a couple of years ago and had a good time and they had one heated pool. Just wanted to know of any other good hotels with heated pools please.

Many thanks

Gloucestershire.

The holiday village has a heated pool, if you are ok with going to Nabq at that time of the year. The pool is pretty well sheltered as well, if it gets windy while you are there.

Is the holiday village good there. We went to the holiday village in Tunisia and didn't enjoy it.

Maritim Jolie Ville Golf does, that's where I stay, I have stayed at the Jolie Ville Casino and didn't like it, far too noisy for me. Reviews and pics under my profile

Hi Kerrian

I guess it would depend on why you didn't like the HV in Tunisia as to if you would or would not like the one in Egypt ? One of the reasons I went was because I had already been to about 3 hotels in Sharm and had started to get fed up with the way the Russians were at meal times and needed a hotel that was about 75% Brits if I was going to go AI. I know I can give as good as I get, but dont really want to slump to that level.

It doesn't bother me what the make up of a hotel is if I go BnB, wouldn't care if we were the only Brits.

I thought the HV was a nice hotel to be honest, it had some of the most beautiful grounds I have seen there and I liked the lay out the low level blocks and the swim-up bits made it look pretty. Being at sea lvel can make a difference if you have younger kids or nervous swimmers as well who couldn't cope in the hotels whose beachs are cut out of the rock face.

Also I didnt want a hotel with 600 or 700 rooms as they are normally chaos at meal times if they are AI, I wanted a smaller hotel.

For that particular holiday it suited us fine. It all depends on what you want from a holiday really.

Going next year just as a couple and will choose something less family orientated. Infact thinking about the hotel Barbara has mentioned above along with a couple of others.
