Any taxfree shopping in terminal 2?

Hi,

Me and my family are going for the first time to Dubai around Xmas and I really need some help with a few questions. We are taking Norwegian airline and will land at terminal 2. Will it be any taxfree shopping at the terminal? I can't find any information at all about the terminal. My second question is how much time it will take from arriving at the terminal until your out on the other side of customs and everything. We are arriving late with kids.

Yes, but it's very small. Terminal 2 is used by mainly budget airlines and those less prestigious airlines. The Norwegian Air Shuttle is rather the odd one out there. Expect long queues at peak times for immigration.

Thank you for the answere. When you say very small, what does that mean? Would it be possible to by a Whiskey and maybe some perfume to take home?

What time is peak time?

Yes, you'll be able to get those items.T2 is pretty hectic at all times, but you'll notice early mornings and late afternoons/evenings are particularly busy.

Thanks again for your answer. When you say it takes time. What timeframe are we talking about, is it half an hour, one hour or even longer? We will be arriving around midnight.
