Friday Brunch

Hi everyone, visiting Dubai early June. Anyone any suggestions for friday brunch for me and my husband? Thinking of quality of food rather than quantity and somewhere with a bit of atmosphere. Thanks

mydubaimycity.com/en/…BUBBALICIOUS-BRUNCH

this is quite useful if your considering the Westin.

We are there 1st week of June and cannot wait for the brunch and Bubbalicious.

Thanks all, we have succumbed and might do Al Qasr on the first Friday and Bubbalicious on the second one. Does Al Qasr have any Sirius discounts or others?

As amazing as the Al Qasr brunch looks in that video, I cannot begin to justify that price for a mere meal. Are there any good buffets that are quiet, have a nice traditional atmosphere, reasonable food, and that aren't remotely as outrageously overpriced as Al Qasr? Neither of us drink alcohol, so if there is anything for, say, 150 AED each without drinks, that would be nice. Maybe as much as 200 AED. I would like to try a brunch, but not one that will make me feel ill afterwards--either from the food or the bill....

kagakiwi,

you might find a good international buffet would suit you better and it doesnt have to be on a friday. the "brunch" has become a tradition in Dubai and some are very popular regardless of the price being high or low. It is hard to see the value in paying too much unless you eat like a hog and drink like a fish.

If you check out timeout dubai you can read up on which hotels have varied themed nights, some are great value and not as expensive or chaotic as some of the brunches

I've found the answer to my question here:

http://brunchfinder.ae/

Looks like a good site listing by price and cuisine. The Iranian Club looks good to me - only 70 AED.

Another point - how can it be "brunch" if it's in the afternoon? Shouldn't it be "lunner"?
