Bottle Shops near Dubai Marina

Hi

As a tourist, will we need an alcohol license to buy drinks from a bottle shops in Dubai?

Could you also let me know if there are any bottle shops near Dubai Marina?

Many thanks

As a tourist you will not be able to buy alcohol from any of the bottle shops. That's why we recommend you buy from Duty Free on arrival. Mixers (tonic water, coke, pepsi etc) can be bought from supermarkets of which there are many.

You will only be able to buy alcohol in hotel bars and restaurants.

Very helpful. Do the hotels frown on you having alcohol in your room?

Yes. Just ask housekeeping to clear the mini bar for you rather than doin it yourself, otherwise you might find you get charged for moving the stuff
