Though now we seem to have a problem, as the Hungarian train company does not give out E-tickets or something similar, but it requires you to pick up the tickets at a machine at the station.
This is a problem, since it seems that all those machines are only at Hungarian stations, so not in Timisoara.
Could anyone verify that this is the case and maybe tell me what to do with my tickets now?
Hope anyone can help me with an answer to this problem :)
Thanks in advance.
Around €25 in 2nd class and €39 in 1st class.
There's also a limited number of discounted 2nd class tickets at €15.Edited: 21 June 2018, 00:16
Hi, Thank you so much for letting me know. Is it possible to buy tickets online in advance? If not, where can they be purchased in Romania? (We will be in Romania for 6 days, travelling from Iasi to Timisoara). Do you know how/where it is possible to get the discounted tickets? And is there a cheaper rate for children? I really appreciate your advice.
