Staying at yulia inn kuta ,easy walk to matahari store?

We were looking at staying at yulia hotel in kuta , but were wondering if it is any easy walk to matahari store kuta square . One of our group has a walking stick and worried about traffic chaos crossing the road . On map looks like it is on same side on block . Deciding factor if we stay there or not ..

The walk to Matahari's is straight (west) along Jl Pantai Kuta, when you reach KFC on the corner of Kuta Square turn left and it's a short walk to Matahari's.

There is no road to cross as you exit Yulia Inn or when you reach Matahari's.

Jl Pantai Kuta the traffic travels one way (west) and it's busy at peak times, e.g late afternoon/evening/night.

Traffic travels (coming from Jl Kartika Plaza) through Kuta Square to Jl Pantai Kuta turning left then right travelling one way (north towards Legian) along the beachfront which is the same at peak times, e.g congested/slow moving.
