Hong Kong 1st Time- Sites to See & Shopping

I am traveling to Hong Kong for the first time on business. I will only have two days for touring. What are the things that are a MUST to see? What are the best places for shopping and what are the best buys in Hong Kong?

Must sees?

The peak -- the view is great, and the tourist traps aren't too bad.

The Star Ferry, it only takes about 10 minutes or so, and a view of the harbour is great.

There are many temples if you are interested.

There is a big Buddha, though if it's cloudy or wet you can't see it very well.

There are many museums and art galleries a number of which are clustered together at the bottom of the Kowloon Peninsula.

Best buys?

That depends on where you're from and what your tax situation is like, but you will probably get the latest electronic gadgets outside of Tokyo.

Chinese arts and crafts are definitely worth purchasing as souvenirs.

Gold and jewellery are good if you can find something to your taste.

Expensive watches seem relatively cheap, as Hong Kong is generally tax and duty free.
