Can anyone tell me if there is a bus service from Stanley to the Peak?

There is no direct bus service from Stanley to the Peak. You can take bus 6 or 66 from Stanley, get off on Stubbs Road just below the large road intersection/flyover complex as the bus descends from Wong Nai Chung Gap towards Happy Valley, then cross the road to join the number 15 bus for the Peak. Alternatively you can also take bus 6A or 6X from Stanley, get off anywhere on Queens Road East then cross the road to a bus stop served by the number 15 bus stop travelling (in the opposite direction) to the Peak.

if you have time, get down in admiralty station, go through pacific place mall, exit out to hk park, have a little stroll in the park, then exit to the peak terminus

Thanks guys, as the bus to Stanley stops almost outside of our hotel (Metropark Causeway Bay), I think I will take that to Stanley, then maybe a taxi lfrom Stanley to the peak, then the funicular tram down to the terminus.

That taxi will be pretty expensive -- on the order of $100.

The bus transfer from No. 6A or 6X to No. 15 is really not difficult....just involves walking across Queen's Road on a pedestrian bridge. If there's only one of you, the price difference will be huge. (Total bus fare will be $8.40+$9.80= 18.20.)

I didn't realise that the taxi fare would be so expensive from Stanley to the Peak. So I have cut and pasted your suggestion. Thanks for the info.

it would be as the distance between the two destinations are very far i.e. like end to end.
