How do you commute in the giza complex? Can we go from one pyramid to another on a car? I am specifically asking about The pyramids of giza
You can walk. If you have problems walking you can take a car, or a carriage or a camel or a horse.
You will have to walk it up once you are in the Giza complex to the first one which is quite close. You can also walk to the second one thereafter.
For the third one, if you have a tour operator then they arrange for a car which takes you there (not very far) but better to take a car and to the area from where you can see all pyramids as well as the Sphinx thereafter which is a little far away so car is advised. If you are travelling with a tour operator then they have horse carriages there but I saw one horse fall under the carriage and people were badly hurt so wouldnt advise it.
Hope this helps.
Yes you can
The third and smallest pyramid isn’t that far from the other two and, unless you’re quite elderly or in some way disabled, walking between them isn’t a problem. This isn’t necessarily true for the Sphinx which stands lower on the plateau. Again the distance isn’t that great but the incline can be a bit steep. Thus, those with mobility issues and not wishing to ride a horse or camel might think of using a tour car.
As said, if you value your physical well being and/or would like to give an over-worked horse an even break, don’t consider a horse drawn carriage.
in a month or two they will forbid cars at the pyramids area and they will force all people to use Electric trains (Taftaf) like those in valley of kings , so then you can with the Taftaf ticket to go from one stop to another easly, but Taftaf is said that it will not go down to Sphinx so it have to be walking only, no one knows much details yet to be 100% accurate, but said that it will be from beginning of Spetember. who knows when really it will be applied.
