Renting Condos in PDE (Torre del Triangulo)

Hi -- I will be traveling with two other women to PDE in January 2007, and we plan to stay in PDE for 3 nights. We have never been to PDE or to Uruguay. We are three single women and having a difficult time finding hotel rooms already! Is it too early too book and things are not released yet, or do most places require more than 3 nights at this time of year or is it just hard to find triple rooms?

The discoveruruguay.com website offers condos at a complex known as Torre del Triangulo. The rate is about $180 USD per night for a three bedroom condo. This seems pretty reasonable considering what else we've been able to find. I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows of this place or has stayed there and can give me any input about its quality, location, etc. or has any other suggestions. Thanks!

hi! By coincidence, I ended up reading your e-mail. We are 3 single men also travelling to PDE for the first time. Would you like to get in touch?

Hi Nettster,

I wonder if you could inform me of your experience of of the staff from discoveruruguay.com and Torre del Triangulo apartments. How much of a deposit did you pay and when did you pay the balance.

Be weary of paying damage deposits. We had our money taken when no damages were done. The rental company's trick is to not show up at checkout, so you are forced to trust them because you have a plane to catch. We had a terrible experience with www.luxuryinternationalliving.com.

Greetings:

I originally posted this inquiry a little over a year ago and haven't been getting notifications that there were new postings, so I haven't responded to some of the questions on here.

I do want to inform that my friends and I did rent the 3-bedroom condo in Torre del Triangulo in PDE from Diego at discoveruruguay.com in January 2007 and had a great experience! We paid $180 per night (total, not per person). The apartment was in a great location, as depicted, spacious, comfortable, and we had no problems whatsoever. You could easily walk to the beach, the Conrad casino, and many restaurants and clubs. Comfortable, gorgeous views from a high-floor balcony. Even though lots of activity nearby, quiet for sleeping. I would highly recommend this condo (especially at that price considering what the hotels charge) and dealing with Diego. He is very helpful and honest. If you want any more information, please just ask as I will give you any addtional information I may have.

Agree with Nettster, Torre del Traingulo tower is great, has an indoor and outdoor pool, gym and sauna. Great location. You can also check
