Currently I am staying in Riyad on business visa and I am planning to visit Bahrain for holiday. I am Indian national. I want to know whether visa on arrival is available for Indians.
Not unless you have GCC residency with more than 6 months validity left & managerial/high position stated on residence visa.
Twice I was on transit from Dubai to Saudi via Bahrain. If you have a flight to or from there and would leave to some other place you get a transit visa for 2 dinars (20 riyals).
The other time i stayed there for a day and had to take a 72 hour visa which cost 6 dinars (60 riyals).
So if you are planning for a 3 day visit you will have to go for the second one.

An Indian National can apply for a Bahraini eVisa, if the purpose of the visit is tourism. It would be valid for 30 days and will cost you 29 Bahraini Dinars (4,770 Indian Rupees).
• The visa can be used only once, for a single entry.
• Length of stay allowed is 2 weeks (or longer for some nationalities).
• This visa may be extended at NPRA in Bahrain on payment of a fee.
You must submit the following documents with your application:
1. Copy of return air ticket.
2. Photocopy of the photo page of the applicant's passport.
3. Copy of hotel booking in Bahrain.
4. Copy of bank statement covering last three months.Edited: 09 December 2014, 23:09
