Visa extension vs popping into Thailand?

Visa extension vs popping into Thailand?

I’d like to stay in Laos & it sounds like I have two pretty easy options — extend my visa or go across into Thailand and back.

I’m at the point in my travels where passport pages are becoming valuable real estate. So Thailand would be a slightly cheaper solution, even with transport, but does anyone know if that would use up another full page in my passport for a second Lao visa? How much space does the extension use up — full page as well, or just a stamp?

I looked back a ways, but my apologies if this has been answered before... Thanks all!

Hi,

Maybe you'd bear in mind that you're allowed to enter Thailand by land

only twice per calendar year.

A good point - thank you!

Anyone know if the extension uses another full page of passport as well?
