Stopover in Bangkok in August - yes or no?

HI - I have just posted a query about the weather in Rawai at the end of July/beginning of August? I am wondering if we should spend the final two days of our trip on a stopover in Bangkok, before flying back to the UK? We will have two of our three kids with us, teenagers aged 15 and 17. Is it worth a visit? Flight deals to Phuket including stopover in Bangkok are decent right now (way cheaper than a two-week holiday in a European hot-spot in the summer).

I would say. I always find plenty to do and see in Bangkok and good for shopping.

I often stay a day or two that time of year and perhaps I was lucky, the weather was really good.

I think it is, but you may not. Best to research Bangkok, things to do. Top green banner and see if it suits your needs. BTW you will need a computer or iPad etc to see these options.
