Which one is better hotel .Eastiny place or sunbeam hotel ??
For access to nightlife and overall stat aspects perspective??
I haven't stayed at either for several years as they were both pretty awful.
In that area, the Flipper hotels are better.
However, even my friends who come as tourists no longer stay in that area...they consider it overpriced.
for sex tourism, I'd suggest the area to visit now is Soi Bua Khao, Soi Ling Kee and Soi Diana area - the hotels there are better value and the "nightlife" I presume a euphemism?) is moved to there.
Sunbeam is a large place with quite 300 really large rooms in 2 buldings, with swimp up bar, the small bulding offer incredible rooms, the 3 M are wonderful and one of the most original i see. Eastiny place place is small with basic rooms, i stay on Eastiny seven, same group. Not to compare, great difference

That area is noisy with loud music from bars going on well into the early hours.
Maybe the glazing/soundproofing in your room will be good enough but if you want a guarantee of a quieter environment move further north and try Beach Rd sois 2, 3 or 4. A Thb 10 songteow and you will be in the soi 7/8 area in a couple of minutes.
Thank you ..Any specific hotel you would like to suggest?
And your budget?
1200 to 1400 baht / night
