Israeli visa in passport - Visa issue?

Hi all

Is this a real concern when applying for a Sudan visa? I have an old Israeli visa in my passport and am wondering how much of a dealbreaker this is today. My passport is quite filled up so it doesnt stand out particularly since most pages have stamps or visas.

The official line on the UK FCO website is "If your passport has an Israeli visa or Israeli entry/exit stamps you will not be allowed to enter Sudan."

If you already have plenty of stamps in your current passport, why run the risk? Just apply for a new passport to avoid any hassle entirely.

Just returned from Sudan yesterday, they looked explicitly for an Israeli visa stamp in my passport - I guess it would have been a problem to get in

I noticed on the visa form that you have to declare religion. I am a U.K. citizen and Jewish (no Israeli stamps though ) Is this a problem?
