Safari Holiday

ADVICE NEEDED: I would like to go 'on safari' - at the moment, time of year, duration and location are totally flexible, ideally I would like to spend a max of £3,000 pp all in (flights, taxes etc.) for 9+ nights, I'm not looking for luxury but neither do I want to rough it too much, I'm in my 50's and my husband is in his 60's. Where do you start when choosing? Please tell me about your good/bad experiences, companies, locations and general other advice that will help me to plan the trip of a lifetime. Thank you.

Sangha lodge has re-opened. And the owners/manager speaks english (as opposed to french). But CAR is not for the faint hearted. Poaching has also been horrific due to civil war and proximity to Sudan.

zambia of course is much easier, i d suggest u to visit South lwangwa national park as well there
