Carara National Park - Late Morning still okay?

Hi - We are considering going to Manuel Antonio for a few nights from Peace Lodge, and then back to the Central Valley for our trip. My Mom loves birds. With how far away we will be, I doubt we will make it to Carara by 7am, it it still worth seeing (enough birds) if you go later in the morning? Or can you go near evening?

Thanks much in advance for advice.

Dear Pirate

One of the great things of Carara as anybody that have been there and really know the park or the area......is the dense forest...even in a hot day is a nice hike...little hot of course...but nice...you can see birds anytime...most birds love hot weather...anyway that is the home weather for them...please do not worry you´ll see birds...almost any time...
