Suggestions for Corozal hotel

I plan to spend two nights in Corozal in early October and would like recommendations on accomodations that are within walking distance of town.

I have stayed at both the Sea Breeze and Copa Banana in Corozal. Copa Banana is a bit of a walk from the centre of town it is very clean and is up to North American standards. There is a kitchen there if you want to cook and there is a restaurant a short walk from there. They have a area where you can sit by the ocean. If you want a more budget experiece almost right in the centre of town the Sea Breeze has all you basic needs. They have breakfast available for guests and a nice upstairs bar with a view of the bay. The rooms there are basic. Both places are good value for what you pay.

Hokol Kin is 4 blocks from the bus terminal, 1 block from the water taxi, right on the bay. All the rooms have a great breeze and you can check in late! Plus they have a fantastic and reasonably priced menu with real coffee.

We stayed at the Corozal Bay Resort which the owners told us is exactly 1 mile from the town center. A nice cool walk along the waterfront to town. It is right on the edge of town.

Walked down to the Copa Banana and were attacked by large savage dogs running on the street. Very scary experience and there was some crazy looking guy hiding in the bushes. Stopped at the HoKolKing to check it out. Right in town and noisy as it is across the street from a tile depot.
