Wroclaw in Janaury

Hi

I am planning a trip to Wroclaw in the middle of January and have a few questions I would like to ask:

Can anyone tell me what the weather is normally like at this time.

Will the Christmas illuminations still be up?

Is there much to do at this time of year?

Thanks in advance

I would think the city authorities will be taking down the Christmas decorations in mid January since well, Christmas is well over. And I imagine it will be cold but no one can tell what the weather is like 6/7 weeks ahead but I would pack very warm clothes.

Wroclaw is a lovely walkable city with lots of bars and restaurants and you won't be short of things to do and see.

Hello Emma!

Weather is unpreadictable. It may vary from 10°C to -20°C. My 32 years experience (am I fortune teller? ;-) suggests me that you should expect -5°C.

Regarding atractions - well, Wroclaw has around 700.000 inhabitants (including big Ukrainian minority) so you will need plenty of time to be bored. This summer I spent 3 weeks in the city and everyday I was occupied by various activities.

Greetings!
