Using the trams

One of our treks may involve a tram ride home. How does one use the tram ?

buy tickets in advance (in which case where) ?

can one pay the driver ?

is it a fixed fare ?

any advice welcome.

I am not familiar with brno public transport, but tickets can be bought in advance in the places stated in the first link, become valid only when used and time stamped....the cost depends on the area and whether transferable or not. Don't think you can pay the tram driver.

Hope someone else can be more helpful
