Open Container Law?

Hello, everyone! Does anyone know is there is an open container law in Puerto Rico? Can we have a beer on the beach out of a can or bottle or will we be fined?

I sure hope not.

An open container of alcohol is allowed on the beach (Not in the Car) as long as it is in a can or plastic bottle, Glass is Not allowed. Please remember to use the available trash cans when you are leaving the beach. Enjoy...

Yes, we always carry away our trash and even pick up others' trash. I had just heard a rumor that we couldn't have any open container at all. Of course never in a car, that is a given understanding for safety. Thank you, for responding!
