Fuel canister options?

I'm flying into Launceston and will need to pick up some backpacking stove fuel before heading to OT- where will i find it and will i be able to get the screw on type canister (specifically to fit MSR 'pocket rocket' stove) or will i only find the threadless press on type? I have both stove types but would like to only pack one. TIA.

Hi,

Either Anaconda or Paddy Pallin should have what you need, and they're not far from each other.

There's also a Ray's Outdoors near Anaconda.

But I would try Paddy Pallin first as they sell the pocket rocket.
