Is it possible to do this trip and maybe bay of fires by public transport or tour bus please? Does anyone know? Thanks

As you've probably worked out public transport in Tasmania is limited at best.

You will find a bus service at the link below that will get you to Bicheno -


Calloway would be your best bet.

It's not possible to get to the Bay of Fires by public transport. You can get no further than St Helens.

It is possible to get to Freycinet National Park with Callows, but the timetable makes there-and-back trips from Bicheno very difficult.

You should seriously consider joining a tour. :)
