Hi were looking at camping on lizard island in September does anyone know what it’s like can you get there by boat? Can campers use the resort boats? Is there much to do there for kids ?

It’s a basic Bush campground run by national parks

The only thing campers can access is the Marlin Bar. The resort facilities are for resort guests and are included in their rates.

There are no boat transfers provided, you need to fly in although sometimes you can find a “lift” but I’m guessing you are a family, so highly unlikely If you have your own boat then yes you can arrive by boat

Activities for kids are playing on the beach, walking to cooks look and snorkelling.
