We are thinking of staying at the old Cable House in Waterville for a couple nights but will not have a car. Can we catch a "Ring of Kerry" bus tour from Waterville, or do we need to take a bus or taxi up to Killarney to take one? Also, our flight leaves early from Kerry airport. Any chance of catching it from Waterville with a shuttle of some sort, or would we need an expensive taxi?

200 helpful votes Being out on the Ring of Kerry area without a car is nigh impossible. I am not familiar with any ROK tours that begin and end in Waterville and a taxi from Waterville to Killarney is not a common option and very expensive. Kennedy Bus Hire http://www.valentiaisland.net/ on Valentia Island and Dennis Griffen http://www.drivekenmare.com/ in Kenmare would be the closest ones to contact for special transportation needs in the area.
