What time does it get dark in late August?

Hi we have rented a house near Lauragh in late August. It is in the woods somewhere at the bottom of a mountain pass off a private dirt road. Thinking about our arrival, I am assuming it doesn't start to get dark until at least after 8 pm (20:00). Is this right, or am I way off? We don't want to be driving around steep mountain passes trying to find our house in the dark!

Thanks again.

Sunset in West Cork in late August will be between 8:30pm and 9pm. You'll probably get around 30 mins of brightness and 30 more minutes of twilight after that.
