I need to rent a 9 passenger mini van in Bradford on Avon next spring. Any ideas anyone?
Vehicles with nine seats on UK rental fleets are likely to be based on something like a Ford Transit (commercial vehicle) and will most likely only be available with manual transmission. If you need automatic, finding one with auto will be a bit of a challenge.

As others have said, getting an automatic might be hard and Trowbridge will probably be your best (closest) bet for suppliers.
You will probably need to get to Bath or Trowbridge to collect and return the vehicle, so you need to factor that into your plans if you are staying in BoA. If that's an issue for you, find someone who will deliver the vehicle or take you to their office (not common but does happen).
If only for a day or two, you might want to consider hiring one with a driver and let them do the hard work. Make sure you learn the area or have a decent satnav (GPS) as the roads round here are fun when they flood and you will need to find alternative routes if that happens :-).
Nigel - you have replied to a question that was asked 5 years ago ! I therefore think that the OP's journey will have already been made !
