We have a 6 a.m. train from Pistoia to Florence. It appears that most parking lots don't open before 7 a.m.? Does anyone know where we can park around 5:15-5:30 a.m. to catch our 6 a.m. train? And then we won't be returning from Florence on the train until 10:45 p.m. (22:45).

I hope you get the information you need. At that hour of the morning I would just drive to Florence, it's well before the ZTL becomes active for the day, if you enter it by mistake, and you'd be leaving after it ends for the night. There's a large parking lot beneath the train station that we've used easily.

Good suggestion. The ZTL is active between 7:30AM and up to 8PM weekdays and Saturday 4PM.

Thank you for your suggestion but we already have purchased the train tickets for Pistoia so now we're stuck. :/ Any suggestions on where to park in Pistoia based on our train times?

The web site states that the car park has 24 hour accessibility: http://www.metropark.it/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=927c805cc9740210VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD
