Nice hotel walking distance to Paphos

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel (minimum 3* and ideally seafront) that is within a few mins walk of the restaurants and bars in Paphos? Ideally one that is more adults than families focused.

The only time we've been to Paphos (9 years ago) we stayed at the Nereus, but wouldn't choose that one again unless it's improved since.

Hi there,

A very nice hotel which is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Paphos harbour and about 1.5 kilometres from the tourist centre is the 4★Athena Royal Beach Hotel which is adults only and beach front.

See below a list with other nice Hotels in Paphos closer to the tourist centre but they are not adults only:

5★ Annabelle

4★ Alexander the Great

4★ Aloe

3★ Daphne Hotel Apartments

One reviewer said the Alexander is 5 mins walk to the harbour. Is it nearer to the harbour than the part of town where most of the restaurants and bars are?

As you are going towards the Paphos Harbour you will find most of the restaurants and bars on your way. So the Alexander the Great Hotel is closer to the restaurants and bars. However many restaurants are on the Harbour.

Alexander the Great is ideally located. It's on the water, walking distance to the harbour and on a bus route. It's close to bars, cafes and restaurants yet in a quiet spot. The Annabelle and the Almyra are close by and so share the same benefits. The Aloe hotel is almost across the road from the ATG, so not on the sea (still very close) and not the same standard as the other 3, but another option depending on your budget.

Happy travels!

Thanks for the responses. Thinking about the possibility of going to Paphos for a week next October as it'll be ten years since the first holiday with my now wife, which was in Paphos.

Hi, one of my favourite hotels is the Kefalos Beach hotel, it gets very good reviews so check it out. It does take you about 30mins to walk to the harbour along the new coastal path but if you walk up to the main road it is slightly quicker, plus ther are many restaurants on that road so you don't always have to go into Paphos. It is a very nice place to stay. Barbara

Hi

The Athena Royal is in a great position, beach front, bars and restaurants less than 5 minutes walk and its adults only, nice, quiet and relaxing. A well managed Constantinou hotel.

Hi Swiss it takes about 30minutes to walk to Paphos from the Kefalos along the coastal path or if you go to the main road it take about 20 to 25 mins.I wouldn't consider that miles away from paphos. Barbara
