Help with Schengen visa question

I am a Nigerian passport holder with a Schengen visa. Can I visit Cyprus with the visa? Or do I need to get a separate visa. I saw on their embassy website that their world countries can enter with Schengen as long as they have been in other Schengen cities but I also see in some other places that I need a separate visa . I am confused . Please help

1. Re: Help with Schengen visa question

You have asked your question on the Kyrenia forum.

Kyrenia is in TRNC, the Northern Turkish occupied part of Cyprus, is not part of the EU nor is it a recognised country by anyone other than Turkey and Turkey is not part of the EU.

You will have to apply for a visa and what's more as a Nigerian passport holder the requirements are quite strict see this page

where amongst other things it states that

NOTE:The nationals of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Armenia are under obligation to apply in person to a TRNC Representative Office abroad to obtain a visa prior to traveling.
