Hi
Where can we find Cerelac for our two years old son in Oulu? I did not find Cerelac in Lidl.
Cheers, Pooya
Never seen Cerelac in Finland. Try some other brand infant food.
My guess would be we don't have the same (powdery?) product even in other stores. Smoothies and porridge like food is widely for sale, but they tend to be packed in glass jars or in a slurpable foil flagon.
Anyway Lidl has a small supply of baby food. Try a bigger S-market or K-supermarket and youll have a much larger selection.
Thanks. What are your suggestions?
Hard to say as I don't have clue what kind of a product C is...
On a general level all baby food sold here is reliable, safe and of good quality. Look at the pictures on the package, choose whatever fruit or vegs your son may like. Prepare to eat some of yourself ;-)
some vocabulary: sose = puree, hedelmä = fruit, vihannes = vegetable, vilja = cereal, puuro / velli = porridge
Valio Onni Neljän Viljan velli has 4 cereals.
Valiol Onni maissivelli is corn, riisivelli rice. All made in milk. Looks like this:

can be kept in room temperature, eaten room temperature or warm. (And in cafes, you can often ask staff to warm it.)
There are multiple brands of baby food available in Finland but not this particular one.
Valio Onni is a Finnish brand, Semper has porridges that you can mix from powder. Then many groceries have also their own brands. Nevertheless, baby porridges are mostly sold ready made in small cartons or jars. Ask help in the grocery store, most people can speak English.
Thanks all for the great replies.
